Product Description

Res Q Me is portable and functional in a variety or situations, not exclusively accidents. This highly effective escape tool can be kept on your key chain and easily separated from its detachable hook without removing keys from the ignition. It is not uncommon for a safety belt to malfunction in an accident. Infants also can be entrapped within their car seats, and when time is crucial you need to make sure everyone is safe from harm. This tool is able to cut through seat belt material in seconds, simply hook the tool over the belt and pull. The sharp steel blade is protected for your safety as well. The Res Q Me features an ingenious spring loaded system for shattering tempered glass. Simply push the flat surface against a window until the concealed spring loaded spike releases to break the glass. Only 12 pounds (5kg) of force is needed for use. With this device on your key chain, you become a safety provider to others as well, including parents and pet owners. Feel peace of mind knowing you have chosen a safety tool that is approved and recommended by EMT, Police and Fire units worldwide, and The American Fleet Association. Please note that this product does not work on windshield or laminated glass. Often, side window glass is laminated so please check for that before attempting to use the Res Q Me .

This product seems well built and efficient. I hope I never need to use it, but just in case………I have it hanging from the blinker lever.

These are too cool. Thankfully we have not used them but it looks like they will do the trick if they are ever needed. We pushed the end onto a piece of cardboard to see how the glass breaker worked. I was worried that you could accidentally hurt yourself with it but the metal is rounded and you have to push hard for it to be exposed. We even gave one to our 10 year old incase she ever needs it. They come in different colors but I like the yellow to make it easier to find. I carry mine on my keys and it is not too bulky or distracting. My husband just keeps his in his truck because he doesn’t like extra things on his keys but he can still get to it quickly. The compact size is great. We used to have the full size safety hammers that took up a lot of room. The price is well worth it if it is ever needed. I would recomend these. They would also make great gifts especially for new drivers!

I was slightly disappointed with this product because I received it and it did not have instructions on how to use it effectively.

You’ll never know how valuable this device is until you need it, but I feel better knowing that I am now better prepared for some various car disasters. The keychain is very light and of a small enough size that I don’t think it adds much to my usual set of keys and pocket knife. I think it is a lot more practical than the full-size LifeHammer which would require you to mount that device to your car. This keychain version allows you to have it on you in case you are the passenger in somebody else’s car. I also recommend that anybody who purchases this device actually rehearse what they would need to do prior to an actual disaster. Another reviewer mentioned the Discovery channel’s series MythBusters. There is an episode where they test various strategies inside a car that they submerge into a swimming pool. I highly recommend you try to find that episode and watch it and go to other sites. Being mentally prepared without this device is better than being mentally unprepared even with this device. So the device is excellent for what it is, a simple tool and not a complete solution.

I received this product in a timely manner and it was exactly as described. Thankfully, I have not had to use it but it will come in handy if the need ever arises! They are a little big for my husbands ksychain, so I am not sure what he will do with it.
